BRUSSELS – Inflation continued to rise in the European Union in February, up to 1.9 percent in the full EU and hitting 2 percent in the 19-state eurozone, Eurostat reported Thursday.
The statistics office added that rising prices for transport fuels, vegetables and heating oil led to last month’s inflation hike.
