EU Inflation – March

Inflation in the EU fell from 2 percent to 1.6 percent in March, while the 19-state eurozone dropped a half-percent to 1.5 percent, Eurostat said Wednesday.

BRUSSELS – Inflation in the EU fell from 2 percent to 1.6 percent in March, while the 19-state eurozone dropped a half-percent to 1.5 percent, Eurostat said Wednesday.

Rising prices for heating and automotive fuels and vegetables were offset by declines in the telecommunications and travel sectors, the agency said.
