EU Freight Cartel

LUXEMBOURG - The EU's lower court on Monday upheld a collective $184 million fine against several companies which the European Commission found had operated a cartel in the international air freight services sector.

The involved companies include EGL; Ceva Freight; Ceva Freight Shangahi; UTi Worldwide and subsidiaries; Schenker and subsidiaries; Deutsche Bahn; and Panalpina World Transport and subsidiaries.

The court's opinion involving Kuhne + Nagel International and others was not made available in English.
