EU Court Establishes Grant Requirements

(CN) - Foreign nationals must live in their new country for five years before applying for an educational maintenance grant, the Court of Justice ruled.

Europe's highest court took the action after Jacqueline Forster of Germany received a grant after only six months in the Netherlands. She had to pay back funds for a six-month period in which she didn't work.
