CHICAGO — A federal court in Illinois granted an operator of senior living centers and nursing homes a temporary injunction to ensure that its food and housekeeping provider continues to administer its services until the operator transitions to a new provider.

Around 1,600 senior citizens live in the operator's facilities and rely on the provider for essential services. During a pandemic, the court writes, “their interest in receiving these services is absolutely critical.”
