Episcopal churches

COLUMBIA, S.C. — In a dispute over which church entity became the owner of certain property after the Protestant Episcopal Church in the Diocese of South Carolina and several Episcopal parishes disassociated from the national Episcopal Church, the South Carolina Supreme Court ruled that 15 of the parishes retained a title to their real estate, but 14 must transfer title of their properties to the national church.
