EPA to Order Disclosure|of Pesticide Components

WASHINGTON (CN) - The Environmental Protection Agency will be issuing a rule on requiring pesticide makers to disclose inert ingredients in their products.

This action would be to assist consumers and users of pesticides in making informed decisions, and reduce the presence of potentially hazardous ingredients in pesticides.

The EPA seeks public comment on whether only potentially toxic inert ingredients should be required to be disclosed, or all of them, among other matters.
