EPA Said to Drop Nat’l Parks Protection

WASHINGTON (CN) - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency refuses to do its duty and determine whether states have submitted plans to reduce air pollution in National Parks and wilderness areas, as required by the Clean Air Act, environmental groups say. The Environmental Defense Fund and the National Parks Conservation Association ask the federal court to order EPA Administrator Stephen Johnson to do his job.
