YAKIMA, Wash. — The Department of the Interior and Bureau of Reclamation’s Yakima River Basin Integrated Management Plan Alternative includes a pumping station that will lower Lake Kachess by 82 feet, increasing fire risks, impairing water supplies and hurting property values, the Kachess Community Association claims in a federal complaint.
