The Department of Interior and National Park Service illegally refuse to release records on their "Final General Management Plan for Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks," the High Sierra Hikers Association claims in San Francisco Federal Court.

Oceana Inc. sued the Secretary of Commerce, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the National Marine Fisheries Services, challenging their final rule on bycatch reporting standards and methods for the 13 Northeast U.S. federal fisheries, in DC Federal Court.

The Brokenhead Ojibway Nation and six other tribes sued The Attorney General of Canada in Montreal Federal Court, challenging the approval of TransCanada Keystone Pipeline's proposal to build a pipeline from Hardisty, Alberta, to Haskett, Manitoba, without the tribes' knowledge or consultation.
