The U.S. Forest Service illegally approved logging of 33.4 million board feet on 1,700 acres of old growth in the Tongass National Forest, and construction of 10 miles of roads to facilitate the illegal logging, Greenpeace and the Cascadia Wildlands Project claim in Anchorage Federal Court.
