Gary Schaeffer claims he owns the 16 original negatives from Albert Marrion's 1961 photo shoot of The Beatles - the first photos of the band under Brian Epstein's management - and that Lightyear Entertainment, Arnold Holland, Don Speilvogeo, and Joel Kaplan are violating his copyright by selling "Best of the Beatles" documentary DVD via the Internet, in Manhattan Federal Court.

All Shook Up LP demands $14 million from The Promenade Trust, CKX Inc., Elvis Presley Enterprises, the Estate of Julian Aberbach, and Susan Aberbach, claiming they failed to fulfill contractual obligations for a Broadway show called "All Shook Up," in New York County Court.

Patricia Saenz claims NBC Universal, The Mark Gordon Co. and Nick Thiel infringed copyright by swiping her idea for a TV series, "The HUB aka LAX," in Los Angeles Federal Court.

Native American Arts Inc. claims Scott Sales Co. is selling bogus Indian arts and crafts, in Chicago Federal Court.

Sylvester Burks claims John Fullard violated his trademark by posting Burks' picture and trademark on Fullard's Web site, and swiping Burks' musical works and lessons to sell online, for his own profit, without authorization, in Oakland Federal Court.
