U.S. Specialty Insurance Co. claims Capitol Films tried to defraud it of $5 million to $9 million by lying about an agreement Capitol made after actor Samuel Jackson hurt his back and could not appear in the film, "Black Water Transit," in Los Angeles Federal Court.

Debbie Sue Croyle, a stagehand, claims Roar LLC used her image in the movie, "Pittsburgh," without her consent. She claims the defendants invaded her privacy, and also sues Prosperity Pictures LLC, Striking Features LLC, Industry Entertainment Productions LLC, Ripe Digital Entertainment Inc., Chris Bradley, Kyle La Brache, International Orange, Starz Entertainment LLC, and Starz Media LLC, in Pittsburgh Federal Court.

Prophecy Pictures claims Fabrication Films International fraudulently concealed revenue from the low-budget film, "Conversations With Other Women." Also sued in Los Angeles Superior Court are Ram Bergman, Gordon Street Productions, Conversations With Other Women LLC, and Brick Productions LLC.
