Chuck Norris claims Penguin Group USA violated his trademark and invaded his privacy by selling and promoting the book, "The Truth About Chuck Norris." Norris also sued Ian Spector and Qubefactor Technologies, in Manhattan Federal Court.

Douglas Ellison, and Four Kings Production demand $20 million from The Island Def Jam Music Group accusing it of business torts and conspiracy. Also sued in New York County Court are UMG Recordings, Shalik Berry, Lynette Payne, and Lemuel Payne.

Makeda Barnes-Joseph claims Remy Smith aka Remy Martin shot her in the stomach outside a nightclub, in Manhattan Federal Court. She also sues Universal Music Group.

The Jackson Sisters sued Universal Music Group for $1 million, claiming UMG owes them royalties and forged a contract assigning their rights. Here are the parties to the action in Los Angeles Superior Court: The Jackson Sisters, Rachell Jackson, Olivia Smith, Lynetta Coleman, and Gennine Jackson-Francis v. Universal Music Group, Polydor, and Mums Records, a division of Landers-Roberts Inc.

James Livingston Smith dba AllMyFavoriteShows.com and DVDAvenue.TV are accused of illegally selling copyright episodes of "The Gene Autry Show," in Los Angeles Federal Court.

Sony/ATV Music Publishing demands $10 million from Tennessee Productions Center dba Chartbusters and Norbert Stovall, claiming they violated copyright on hundreds of songs through their karaoke company. See complaintin Nashville Federal Court.
