Sylvester Johnson claims a slew of music industry big shots are violating copyright on his 1967 tune, "Different Strokes," and profiting from it. He sued Michael Jackson, Will Smith, Tupac Shakur Estate, Sony BMG, Universal Music Group and others, in Chicago Federal Court. See complaint.

Ronald Haffkine claims he produced eight "Dr. Hook" albums and Dr. Hook of Tennessee, EMI-Capitol Music Group, Grapefruit Productions and others defrauded him of credit for it, in Gallatin County Court, Tenn.
