Louisiana Films North sued Michael Haynes in Shreveport Federal Court, claiming it hired him to produce a promotional film, "North Louisiana: A Filmmaker's Dream," to which Haynes is wrongfully claiming ownership.

JDI Records Corp., a small gospel outfit, claims Norman Hutchins breached contract by signing with Podium Records before he completed his four-album deal with JDI, in Los Angeles Superior Court.
