Stephen Stewart-Short and Michael Rosenblatt claim they managed the rock band "Augustana" until Sony BMG Music and its employee Pete Gibera, vice president of Sony's Epic Records division, interfered with their contract, in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Croomstacular Music Publishing sued these defendants in Manhattan Federal Court in a dispute over rights to DeAndre Way's (Soulja Boy Tellem's) tune "Crank That (Soulja Boy):" Element 9 Recordings LLC dba Element 9 Hip Hop, Minder Music dba Taking Care of Business Music, and Stuart Pflaum.
