Lifetime Entertainment Services sued Lifetime Media – an editorial services company (book packager) that has begun publishing its own books – in a trademark complaint in Manhattan Federal Court. The plaintiff is a joint venture of Disney and Hearst.           The Kaplan Stahler Agency claims that after Robert Gumer resigned from the talent agency, he told clients to stop paying Kaplan its commissions, in Los Angeles Superior Court.           Capital City Entertainment sued Nicholas Thurlow, Upload Media, and Wow Investments in Baton Rouge Parish Court, demanding an accounting on the movie, “The Way of War.”
