Engineer Says Racial Bias, Threat,|Preceded His Illegal Firing

OGDEN, UTAH (CN) - Thermo Fisher Scientific discriminated against and illegally fired a senior engineer to retaliate for his truthful reports of drug manufacturing violations, and told him, "You may be deported for making these allegations," though he is a U.S. citizen, Carlos Garrido claims in Federal Court.

Garrido demands punitive damages for retaliation, wrongful firing and civil rights violations. He is represented by Gregory Stevens of Salt Lake City.
