Engineer Says Hospital Fired Him|For Reporting Bid Rigging & Kickbacks

WOBURN, MASS. (CN) - Sodexo and Lowell General Hospital fired the hospital's director of engineering because he truthfully reported bid rigging, kickbacks and fraud, John Carciero claims in Middlesex County Court.

Carciero claims the defendants also retaliated against his brother and mother, both Sodexo employees, and that the retaliation was led by the hospital's Chief Operating Officer, defendant Joseph White III. Carciero claims that he reported the fraud to White, who retaliated for it, and that the allegations are "being reviewed by a Senate Judiciary Committee."
