Laura Booker sued Attorney General Alberto Gonzales and FBI Director Robert Mueller in Houston Federal Court, claiming they demoted her for complaining of a racially hostile work environment at the FBI.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Federal Express Corp., in San Francisco Federal Court; McNeil Technologies, in San Diego Superior Court; Hertz, in Santa Clara County Court, Calif.; University Security Concepts dba University Security Solutions, in Los Angeles Federal Court; and Summit Security Services, and PTM Management Corp., in Brooklyn Federal Court.
