A manager for Rome Research Corp. repeatedly raped an employee at its Tinian facility, the EEOC claims in Northern Mariana Islands Federal Court.

The EEOC is the latest to accuse Cracker Barrel Old Country Store of sexually harassing female employees - seven of them - and retaliating when they complained of it. The complaint in Knoxville Federal Court is the 329th against Cracker Barrel in the CNS database, many of them for similar allegations.

William Johnson and Julian Moore, two white police sergeants, claim the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County use an improper "sliding banding method" to score lieutenant exams to promote lower-scoring blacks and women, in Nashville Federal Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Best Collateral, in Marin County Court; the Plastic Surgery Institute, in Orange County Court, Calif.; OA Security Services, in Tampa Federal Court; Central Concrete Supply, in Sacramento Superior Court; Jimmy John's Point Plaza and affiliates, and Environmental Technology Landscaping and Wills Excavating, in Chicago Federal Court; GPS Painting and Wallcovering, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Sprint United Management and Sprint Nextel, in Los Angeles Federal Court; Moody Petroleum, Miami Atlanta Airfreight, Esther's 103 Inc., Zitrov Corp., and Aimee's Cleaning Service, in Miami Federal Court; Sunbelt Sprinkler and Well Drilling, Onyx Waste Services, and C&W Grading and Trucking, in West Palm Beach Federal Court; and Palm City Landscape & Irrigation, and Concepts in Greenery Landscape Maintenance, in Fort Pierce, Fla., Federal Court.
