George Parrish, a former supervisor at HFC Consumer Mortgages, has been accused of raping a female employee and threatening to hurt her children if she reported it to the police. The alleged victim sued him in Cuyahoga County Court after he was fired for other reasons.
Donald Williamson and the city of Flint, Mich., face two lawsuits in Detroit Federal Court accusing them of bypassing white candidates for lesser qualified black applicants for positions in the citizen service bureau.
Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Medico Home Medical Equipment Inc. in Alabama Federal Court; andDiscount Tire Centers, Wilshire Restaurant, Arsenal Bar, Point Break, Grog Bar & Restaurant and USS Arsenal in Los Angeles Superior Court.
