John Silva III claims East Bridgewater Police Chief John Cowan wrongfully fired him because be refused on Fourth Amendment grounds to submit to a Breathalyzer test while at home on sick leave, in Plymouth County Court, Mass.

Motion Industries transferred a vice president accused of sexually tormenting women to an office where he sexually harassed and groped another woman, who sued the company in Chattanooga Federal Court, claiming that in response to her complaint, it transferred him someplace else.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Electronic Data Systems, in Detroit Federal Court; Luby's, in Houston Federal Court; Shiv Hotels, in Tampa Federal Court; Trico Shrimp, and Campbell Roofing & Sheet Metal, in Fort Myers, Fla., Federal Court; Time Warner, RadioShack Corp., Jacobson Payroll Group, Principe LLC, and Pomeroy Investments dba Marie Callender's, in Los Angeles Superior Court; and the City of Cartersville, in Rome, Ga., Federal Court.
