Douglas Samuels claims Portland State University demoted him from vice provost to professor in the Black Studies department, part of a pattern of discrimination against black employees, in Multnomah County Court, Ore.

Joseph Sabutis, a tenured professor, claims New Mexico Highlands University President Manny Aragon fired him illegally in an effort to "cleanse" the university of non-Hispanic faculty, in Albuquerque Federal Court.

International, and Allied Cash Advance California, in Alameda County Court, Oakland; Diakon Logistics, in San Diego Superior Court; Helix Energy Solutions Group, and S&Y Enterprises, in Houston Federal Court; BASF Catalysts, in Huntsville, Ala., Federal Court;Plastipak Packaging, and Tim Griffin Construction, in Tampa Federal Court; B&W Construction, in Gainesville, Ga., Federal Court; Ethan Allen Retail, in Newnan, Ga., Federal Court; Brosnan Risk Consulting, and Easy Shopping Department Store, in Manhattan Federal Court; Carl Karcher Enterprises, and Blue Line Food Service Distribution, in Santa Barbara Superior Court.
