Brink's illegally fired a worker for meeting with a union rep, then refused to comply with a state order to pay him wages owed; now the State of California sues Brink's on his behalf.

Kerry Davis claims Ingersoll-Rand Co. instructed her to lie to the EEOC, which was investigating the company, then fired her after she reported the unethical conduct, in Indianapolis Federal Court.

The EEOC accuses Renzenberger Inc. of sex discrimination and harassment, in a class-action complaint in Chicago Federal Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Antelope Valley Newspapers, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Solectron Corp. and Flextronics International, in San Jose Federal Court; Tully's Coffee Corp., in Alameda County Court, Oakland; Carl Karcher Enterprises, and Blue Line Foodservice Distribution, in Santa Barbara County Court; and Bryn Alan Studios, in Hillsborough County Court, Fla.
