Wal-Mart illegally fired a worker after he returned from being hospitalized on medical leave because co-workers poisoned him with eight dosesof laxatives, claiming they were chocolates, the worker claims in Oklahoma City Federal Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Hilton Hotels, in Middlesex County Court, Cambridge, Mass., for allegedly filching service charges owed to waiters and waitresses; Little Caesar Enterprises, in Los Angeles Superior Court; ATX Services, on behalf of cable installers, in Kansas City, Mo., Federal Court; Noland Health Services, in Gadsden, Ala., Federal Court; St. Martin's in the Pines, in Birmingham, Ala., Federal Court; St. Tammany Parish School Board, on behalf of white people, in New Orleans Federal Court; Crye-Leike South, in Gainesville, Ga., Federal Court; Milum Inc., and the City of Coral Gables, in Miami Federal Court; and Park US Inc., in West Palm Beach Federal Court.
