East Allen County Schools discriminated against women by refusing to bargain with secretaries, food service, nurses and paraprofessional workers - who are overwhelmingly female - but bargaining with custodial, maintenance and transportation workers, who are mostly male, a class-action complaint claims in Fort Wayne, Ind., Federal Court.

A class-action complaint in Milwaukee Federal Court challenges Bemis Co.'s termination of prescription drug coverage and other changes to employees' health insurance after it acquired Hayssen Manufacturing Co.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: The Improv Comedy Club Hollywood, Costco Wholesale Corp., Haralambos Beverage Co., Callahan, McCune & Willis, and Guard Systems Inc., in Los Angeles Superior Court; JP Morgan Chase Bank and affiliates, on behalf of loan officers, in San Diego Federal Court; Kerr Corp., in Detroit Federal Court; Best Buy Co., in Kings County Court, Brooklyn; McLane Foodservice, in Riverside Superior Court, Calif.; Centex Homes, and Healthcare Services Group, in Tampa Federal Court; and Spectators IV, Florida Ready Mix Concrete, Environmental Risk Management, and Charlotte Motorsports, in Fort Myers Federal Court.
