Shriners Hospital For Children discriminated against and fired two women whose job duties included speaking to Spanish-speaking patients, for speaking Spanish on the job, Silvina Delgado and Glenda Lopez claim in Chicago Federal Court.

General Labor Staffing Services and McLabor Management fired her illegally for objecting to their sending out undocumented workers, Laura Escobedo claims in Palm Beach County Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Mayer Roofing, in Riverside Superior Court, Calif.; Superior Construction, Global Dining Inc., and Twenty-Ninth Street Café, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Tyson Foods, in Marshall, Texas, Federal Court; Tyson Foods, in Kansas City, Mo., Federal Court; International House of Pancakes, in St. Louis County Court, Clayton, Mo.; and Mitsui Bussan Logistics, and Morrison's Discount Auto Repair, in Tampa Federal Court.
