A woman demands punitive damages from K+S Services of Lawton, Okla., claiming its plant manager, Ted Williams, harassed her with threats of sexual torture, constructively firing her, in Oklahoma City Federal Court.

Allyn Wright, who says he is the only black employee at Electric Boat's New London, Ct., Submarine Base, claims in Hartford Federal Court that four white co-workers repeatedly assaulted and battered him at work.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Edward D. Jones & Co., on behalf of stockbrokers, in Cuyahoga County Court, Cleveland; City Beverage LLC, in Chicago Federal Court; Hann & Hann Inc., in Baltimore Federal Court; Mels Drive-In, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Alliance Title Co., in Alameda County Court, Oakland; Smithfield Beef Group - Souderton Inc., in Philadelphia Federal Court; Better Class Foods, in Brooklyn Federal Court; Sprint-Nextel, and Renzenberger Inc., in Kansas City, Kan., Federal Court; and Justin Industries, in West Palm Beach Federal Court.
