Knowledge Learning Corp. fired the director of its Addison, Texas, "Kindercare" center for reporting suspected child abuse to the state, and violating her boss's illegal order not to report it, Vanessa Johnson claims in Dallas County Court.

Ramada Sterling and Noble Hospitality filed their sales director to retaliate for her complaints that their front desk manager, Randy Huston, sexually harassed her by, among other things, masturbating in her presence, the woman claims in Denver Federal Court.

Allied Marketing Group wrongfully fired its director of information technology for reporting to corporate bosses that Allied's chief legal counsel had pornography, and, apparently, child pornography on his work computer, Kurt Soutendijk claims in Dallas County Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co., on behalf of sales reps, in San Diego Federal Court; Greater Omaha Packing Co., in Omaha Federal Court; Belfor USA Group, in Ann Arbor Federal Court; The Patina Group & Patina Restaurants, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Atascadero Door Co., in San Luis Obispo County Court, Atascadero; GPS Painting and Wallcovering, in Orange County Court, Calif.; Leading Building Services, Empire Cleaners, and Kawa Sushi in Manhattan Federal Court; Event Support Group, Construdesign Group, Geminis Envios Corp., and Lawnworks, in Miami Federal Court; Ultimate Sunrooms, in Fort Lauderdale Federal Court; and Southern Shuttle Services, and Boca Ridge Property Owners Association, in West Palm Beach Federal Court.
