US Bank and its supervisor Katherine Tycast abused and humiliated, discriminated against and constructively fired an employee by demanding she speak English only, though she was hired as a bilingual teller, Jacqueline Ortiz claims in Cuyahoga County Court, Cleveland.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Genesis Paving, in Los Angeles Superior Court; AT&T Mobility, in Pittsburgh Federal Court; Wal-Mart Stores, Action Staffing Solutions, and Chris Kids, in Atlanta Federal Court; Peco Foods, and Averitt Express, in Tuscaloosa Federal Court; The Jewish Institute of Queens, in Brooklyn Federal Court; and Republic Services of Florida, in Miami Federal Court.
