In an effort to attract Mexican listeners, Clear Channel Broadcasting "fired all non-Mexican employees" at its radio station on Peachtree Road in Atlanta, one such worker claims in Federal Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Hard Rock Café International, in San Diego Superior Court; Monex Deposit Co., in Santa Ana, Calif., Federal Court; Home Depot, in Orange County Court, Calif.; Merit Health Systems, for a mass layoff, in Dallas Federal Court; Pacific Irrigation, in Kern County Court, Arvin, Calif.; E&J Gallo Winery, Fry's Electronics, Colonial Honda, Velocity Express, The Antelope Valley Boys and Girls Club, Sedwick Claims Management Services, and OCS America, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Panera Bread Co., in San Francisco Federal Court; and Sterling Jewelers, accused of discriminating against women, in Manhattan Federal Court.
