Fremont-Rideout Health Group cheated 500 nurses, technicians and therapists of overtime on 12-hour shifts and violated other sections of the Labor Code, a class action claims in Yuba County Court, Marysville, Calif.

Allison Tree Digging paid six immigrant workers less than minimum wage while employing them for years on temporary work visas, fired them if they complained, and otherwise violated the Labor Code, the workers claim in Winchester, Tenn., Federal Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Airtouch Cellular dba Verizon Wireless, and the Insurance Collision Center, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Citigroup, and Inductors Inc., in Orange County Court, Calif.; State Farm insurance, in Cuyahoga County Court, Cleveland; SunTrust Bank, in Atlanta Federal Court; Sunshine Clean of Austin, in Austin Federal Court; America's Thrift Stores, in Tuscaloosa Federal Court; Pinnacle Pool Construction, in Fort Myers Federal Court, Fla.; and Kolter Property Management, in West Palm Beach Federal Court.
