Florida Gulf Coast University fired her as its general counsel to retaliate for her insistence that the athletic department comply with Title IX, Wendy Morris claims in Fort Myers Federal Court.

U.S. Airways ignored complaints that a woman's supervisor, Giovanni Rojas, sexually harassed her, allowing him to rape her on a U.S. Airway plane, she claims in Philadelphia Federal Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Bank of the West, and California Pizza Kitchen, in Los Angeles Superior Court; BP Products North America, in Atlanta Federal Court; Starbucks, in another claim of illegal tip deductions, in Manhattan Federal Court; Nine Fifty Co., Magnolia Avenue Inc., Seven Fifty-Four Inc., and Karen Miles in all three of those cases, in Riverside Superior Court, Calif.; Wells Fargo Financial, in Clarksburg, W.Va., Federal Court; Bay Ltd. and Valero, in Jefferson County Court, Beaumont, Texas; Benchmark Performance Group, Constellation NewEnergy, PSS Partnership, and Nixon Adult Day Center, in Houston Federal Court; Kaca Enterprises, in Miami Federal Court; and WCI Communities, in Fort Myers, Fla., Federal Court.
