ExxonMobil and 17 other oil companies and pipe maintenance firms exposed workers to carcinogenic and radioactive materials, a class action claims in Orleans Parish Court, New Orleans.

Here are the defendants: Exxon Mobil Corp., Alpha Technical Services, American Oil Co., BP Exploration & Oil, Chevron USA, ConocoPhillips Co., French Jordan Inc., Humble, Intracoastal Tubular Services, Marathon Oil Co., OFS Inc., Shell Offshore, Shell Oil Co., Swepi LP, Thomas Energy Services, Union Oil Co. of California, Maxus Bulgaria, Placid Oil.

Tank Industry Consultants is the latest employer to be on charges of allowing nooses to be hung at work, in a racial discrimination claim Philadelphia Federal Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Schwan's Home Service, Bakers Footwear Group, and Spot Runner, in Los Angeles Federal Court; Lush Cosmetics, and JA Rodeo Restaurant, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Avis Budget Group, Outreach Development Corp., Lizardos Engineering Associates, and Aurora Concept Inc., in Brooklyn Federal Court; Don Fiore Co., and Debbie's Restaurant, in Chicago Federal Court; Huddle House, in Jackson, Tenn., Federal Court; Maxim Healthcare Services, in Philadelphia state court; Phillips Corp. Equipco Division, in Pittsburgh Federal Court; Sunbelt Insulation, in Huntsville, Ala., Federal Court; Mansions Catering, in Manhattan Federal Court; and Recourse Communications, in West Palm Beach Federal Court.
