Power Motive Corp. allowed its workers to racially harass its only black employee and hang a noose in his work area, the man claims in Denver County Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Sonic Automotive Group, and P.F. Chang's China Bistro, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Armadillo Bay, in Alameda County Court, Oakland; Sprint Nextel, and Prospect Airport Services, in Chicago Federal Court; First Franklin Corp. and Merrill Lynch, in a single claim in Manhattan Federal Court; Flying J Inc., in Anniston, Ala., Federal Court; Las Vegas Parking Services, in Clark County Court, Nev.; and Rowland Transportation, Canterbury Lane Partners, and Juannia Lath Stucco, in Tampa Federal Court.
