Countrywide Financial Corp. violates the Labor Code, employees say in a class action in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations also have been filed against these defendants, in these courts: Western Farm Service, GSP Precision, and Alliance International Security, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Bank of America, on behalf of bilingual employees, in Orange County Court, Calif.; Southwestern Bell Telephone Co., in Houston Federal Court; Wachovia Mortgage Corp., and Jamali Garden Supplies, in Manhattan Federal Court; Colonel McCrary Trucking, in Atlanta Federal Court; Premier EMS, in Rome, Ga., Federal Court; Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School, in Essex County Court, Newark; LeCapife Corp., and Reinwald Brothers Bakery, in Brooklyn Federal Court; and Laroyce Keene Builders, in Tampa Federal Court.
