A library assistant who is a Southern Baptist claims in St. Louis Federal Court that the City of Poplar Bluffs fired her because her religious beliefs prohibited her from working on "Harry Potter Night" at the library.

Two women claim their boss at BB Tanning in Elk Grove, Calif., Michael Lee Armer Jr., surreptitiously videotaped them nude and put the video online, in Sacramento Superior Court.

Kimberly Clark fired a woman to retaliate for her filing a sexual harassment complaint against a co-worker with the EEOC, the woman claims in Mobile Federal Court.

A woman claims Wal-Mart ignored her complaints that her boss at its Birmingham, Ala, store, Henry Dubose, sexually harassed her by, among other things, telling her, "I am going to make work very hard for you if you do not have sex with me," in Jefferson County Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Stewart Title of California, in San Diego Federal Court; Pizza Hut, in San Diego Superior Court; Quest Diagnostics, in Orange County Court, Calif.; American California Property Management Co., and Sierra La Verne Country Club, in Los Angeles Superior Court; J&K Delivery, in Oklahoma City Federal Court; and Jerry's Concrete Pumping, in Tampa Federal Court.
