A 23-year veteran sued the District of Columbia Police Department and Police Chief Cathy Lanier, claiming they filed false charges against him to retaliate for his reporting criminal acts in the police force and for refusing to assist in illegal retaliation against other officers, in DC Federal Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Global Citigroup, in Orange County Court, Calif.; ExxonMobil, and ExxonMobil Pipeline Co., in Los Angeles Superior Court; International Protective Services, in San Diego Superior Court; and Ready Mix USA, in Birmingham, Ala., Federal Court.
