An employee who has a concealed weapons permit claims Walt Disney Co. fired him illegally for refusing to let Disney search his car. Edwin Sotomayor claims in Orange County Court, Fla., that Disney's actions violate state law.

Odis Chapman, her boss at the House of Sports, drugged and sexually assaulted her, a woman claims in Fort Worth Federal Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Smart & Final, Alchem Plastics, and Moonlight Molds, in Los Angeles Superior Court; United Auto Credit Corp., in San Jose Federal Court; QuickSilver Inc., in Orange County Court, Calif.; Granite Rock Co., in San Mateo County Court; USTA National Tennis Center, in Brooklyn Federal Court; Coyoacan Inc., in Chicago Federal Court; Mueller Services, in Boston Federal Court; and Prism Pointe Technologies, in Atlanta Federal Court.
