A straight bartender at a gay bar sued The Urge Lounge for sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation in New York County Court, claiming, among other things, that he was wrongfully fired for refusing to submit to an after-work spanking.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Landry's Restaurants, in Houston Federal Court; Enterprise Rent-A-Car, in Chicago Federal Court; Marina Ice Cream Corp., in Brooklyn Federal Court; and Coast Courier, in Los Angeles Superior Court.
