Denny's fired a black manager for firing a white employee who used the term "nigger" in the family restaurant, Veronica Chalk claims in Waco Federal Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Milos Inc. dba Milos Restaurant in Manhattan Federal Court; SBS Electronics, Mark Dornhard and Warren Supermarket of Brooklyn Federal Court; Gap Engineering and Mike Homma in Houston Federal Court; Pelican Products in San Diego Federal Court; Darden Restaurants dba Red Lobster, Los Angeles Unified School District, Guardsmark, Movado Company Store, FS Hotels (LA) and Tesoro Corp. in Los Angeles Superior Court; Moody's Lunch Service in San Diego Superior Court; and Parker College of Chiropractics and TA Operating in Dallas Federal Court.
