The Broward County School District failed to enroll more than 1,200 employees in the state retirement system, according to a $16 million class action claim in Broward County Court, Fort Lauderdale.

Medtronic overinvested employees' retirement money in Medtronic stock without disclosing problems with the Sprint Fidelis defibrillator leads, according to a class action ERISA complaint in Minneapolis Federal Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Coverall North America, in San Diego Superior Court; Heavenly Construction, in Santa Clara County Court, Calif.; King Van & Storage and Urtez Trucking, and American Corporate Security, in Los Angeles Superior Court; and Lee's Fashion, in Miami Federal Court.
