ResCom Services, a home maintenance company, "humiliated" and "embarrassed" its Hispanic workers after they missed a day of work to attend an immigrant rights rally, then retaliated against those who complained about the harassment, the EEOC says in San Diego Superior Court.

Barnes & Noble fired a worker after its manager, David Scully, read his private diary, the worker claims in Passaic County Court, N.J.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Discount Tire Centers, City of Angels Medical Center, and Tapout LLC, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores, in Jefferson City, Mo., Federal Court; Tri-Glo, York Bridge Concepts, and Hi-Tech Products, in Tampa Federal Court; Celestial Technologies, Western Pacific Technologies, Earth Electric, and Rodan Builders, in a single complaint, and WIS International, in Alameda County Court, Oakland; Credit Solutions of America, in Dallas Federal Court; and the City of Murray, Ky., in Paducah Federal Court.
