US Airways pilots sued the US Airline Pilots Association in a class action seniority complaint regarding the merger with America West, in Charlotte, N.C., Federal Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Apple, and Dell, in San Jose Federal Court; Rite Aid, in Orange County Superior Court, Calif.; Reliance Co., in Los Angeles Superior Court; Lincoln Park Hospital and Merit Health Systems, for failing to warn the hospital was closing, in Chicago Federal Court; Design Tech Homes, in San Antonio Federal Court; Star Forestry and Earl Roy Trucking and affiliates, in a single claim in Lufkin, Texas, Federal Court; D'Onofrio Bros. Construction, in Brooklyn Federal Court; The Kitchen & Bath Factory, and Caladesi Mobil, in Tampa Federal Court; Straight Line Installations, and The Palms Hotel and Villas, in Orlando Federal Court.
