The City of Franklin, Tenn., discriminated against two police officers because of their racially mixed marriage, the couple claims in Williamson County Court.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Mercedes Benz of Calabasas, and Nematzadeh Enterprises, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Del Frisco's of New York, in a discrimination claim from Hispanic employees in New York County Court; Smithfield Foods, in Omaha Federal Court; Hutch Trucking, in Tuscaloosa Federal Court; and Accu-Search, in Tampa Federal Court.
