Murphy Oil Corp., whose gas stations operate primarily in Wal-Mart parking lots, stiffs its workers for overtime, a class action claims in Houston Federal Court.

A black district manager claims Home Depot fired him after a division president told the plaintiff's boss, "Get rid of that black son of a bitch or I will get rid of you," in Alameda County Court, Oakland.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: PHH Home Loans dba First Capital, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Balboa Ambulance, in San Diego Superior Court; Marriott International, in West Palm Beach Federal Court; Bloxham Homes, in Fort Myers, Fla., Federal Court; and Baluchi's Indian Restaurant, in Manhattan Federal Court.
