Rosetta Stone, a language software company, is accused of discrimination, retaliation, fraud, breach of contract and wrongful firing, in Essex County Court, Newark.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Mity Mole, in Fort Myers, Fla., Federal Court; The Hartford Financial Services Group, in an ERISA claim in Hartford Federal Court; Mortgage Source, and Premium Capital Funding dba Top Dot Mortgage, in Central Islip, N.Y., Federal Court; Bethlehem Steel, in Baltimore Federal Court; Schneider National Carriers, in Oakland, Calif., Federal Court; Coral Graphic Services of Kentucky, for a mass layoff, in Covington Federal Court; Mooney Airplane Co., for a mass layoff, in San Antonio Federal Court; and Metro Fire & Safety, Certified Fire & Safety, and San Diego Fire & Safety, in a single complaint in San Diego Superior Court.
