United Insurance Group Agency's noncompete agreements are unfair and unenforceable, a class of about 500 agents says in Oakland County Court, Pontiac, Mich.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Paramount Pictures, and U.S. Bank, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Compass Group, in a race discrimination claim in Philadelphia Federal Court; Thrifty Payless dba Rite-Aid, and Lynch Ambulance, in Orange County Court, Calif.; and Avatar Properties, in Orlando Federal Court.
